LSI has an exciting opportunity for a full-time Fatherhood Support Worker in Scott County.

Duties:This position will advocate for father-child relationships through education and training by working to develop attitudes and skills needed for improved family relations. Fatherhood Support Workers provide family support to optimize the home environment for children and their parents through education, support and advocacy by encouraging and enhancing father involvement. This position will also conduct assessments.

Fatherhood Support Workers will meet with assigned families in person and in tandem with other Family Support Workers via traveling by car to their homes or other community settings and contact by telephone which may occur during normal business hours, after hours, or on weekends.

Qualifications:Preferred applicants will have a Bachelor?s degree in health or human service related field or education. A minimum of two years of related experience in fatherhood advocacy or early childhood services is required. Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

This position requires a valid Driver's License, Auto Insurance, a good driving record and the ability to pass an extensive background check including checks of the Dependent Adult and Child abuse registries, Sex Offender registry and a criminal history check.
